The DTCE Celebrations Programme

We warmly invite you  to our free event celebrating 10 years of the MA degree Digital Technologies, Communication & Education (DTCE) at the Manchester Institute of Education programme, UoM.

We’ll be exploring the past and future of digital technologies in learning, a subjposter-10yearsMADTCEect very much in the spirit of the degree.

The event is on Thursday, 24th May from 4pm to 7.45pm at the Kanaris Lecture Theatre, Manchester Museum (see interactive map: ).

Our guest speaker is Fred Garnett, independent consultant in the digital literacies and learning field for many years and an Honorary Fellow of the London Knowledge Lab and Institute of Education.

We are also delighted to have talks from Cormac Lawler and Mark Jasper on the DTCE programme who have gone on to carve out careers in the digital learning field.

7.15 – 7.30 student best videos from iEVP 2018  – including a montage from 9 years of iEVP
7.30- 7.40  Looking ahead

While Before/During the event iEVP students will be recording the event on 2-3 cameras.
We will also have a Sound booth where anyone attending can pop into the space and record a message up to 30s.

If you wish to attend the event in an online capacity you don’t need to sign up. We will be meeting online via Adobe Connect at 4.30pm (BST)

As well as the face-to-face event we will have question and answer sessions with MA DTCE tutors, current and alumni students via Twitter from Monday to Wednesday, 21-23 May 2018, 16:00-17:00 BST.  Anyone interested in the degree may wish to attend.
